Per MCL 600.855 and MCR 5.113(A) all filings must be submitted on a SCAO approved form if one exists.  Filings must be submitted on the most current version of the SCAO form.  


Conservatorship Class Information 


Important Changes
Pursuant to P-33 LAO 2020-01:

  • Copy cost for non-certified pages is $1.50 per page, certified documents remain $10 per certification plus a $1.50 per page. 
  • SCAO Forms per page fee is $1.00.
  • Permitting the use of portable electronics devices as set forth in MCR 8.115. 
  • Must use new SCAO forms as of April 1, 2022.

Record Search
There is a $2.00 fee for record searches by mail. Please provide a self addressed stamped envelope for the return of the search.

People may also request records via e-mail now as well at probatecourtrecords@ingham.org.  Once you have sent in your request, you will receive further instructions about payments and methods of payment.

The Probate Court provides only statutorily mandated services.
