Clarissa Vang



Clarissa Vang was born on the military base Ft Carson, in Colorado. She received her high school diploma in 2010 from Harrison High School (Colorado Springs, Colorado) and two associates’ degrees in Criminal Justice; one in Criminal Justice Patrol and the other in Investigative Management from Pikes Peak Community College in 2012 (Colorado Springs, Colorado), and B. A in Criminology from Arizona State University (Tempe, Arizona) in 2014. Then completed her post-bachelor’s Paralegal Certificate from Rio Salado College.

From 2013, until May 2015, she worked at Silverman and Borenstein’s LLC as a receptionist then worked her way to a paralegal. In those roles, she assisted attorneys with the preparation of legal documents including, briefs, pleadings, appeals, affidavits, witness statements, and discovery notices. Additionally, she served as the liaison for attorneys, parties to the proceedings, and the general public.

 In the winter of 2015, until December 2021, Clarissa joined the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office as a Justice System Clerk then worked her way up to Senior. In that position, she would obtain information from courts and staff to update case files, court calendars, and case management systems and create hard files, organize materials, and classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria.

In her personal life, Mrs. Vang enjoys reading and collecting comic books, putting together model kits, and spending time with family and her dogs.
