Robert Palmer

PalmerRob Palmer is a lifelong resident of Ingham County, having spent his childhood splitting time between Lansing and his family’s farm in southern Ingham County. Mr. Palmer earned a bachelor of science from Michigan State University, and a law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Following his law school graduation, Mr. Palmer practiced law with several local firms, where he focused his practice on criminal defense, complex personal injury, and agricultural matters.

 Mr. Palmer is licensed with State Bar of Michigan, the Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the U.S. Federal Immigration Court. He is a member of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM), and a former member of the Michigan Association for Justice. Mr. Palmer has presented on the topic of Criminal Law at the People’s Law School in East Lansing. In 2014, Mr. Palmer co-authored the American Bar Association’s “Little Book of Horse Racing Law.”

 Mr. Palmer is an active sports fan, and particularly enjoys following the MSU Spartans. He resides in southern Ingham County.
