Mr. Feigelson was raised in Lyndhurst Ohio, which is a suburb of Cleveland Ohio. He went to Thomas M. Cooley Law School which brought him to Lansing, Michigan. Mr. Feigelson is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan as well as New York.
Prior to joining the Public Defender’s Office, he ran his own solo practice based in Okemos, Michigan focusing on Bankruptcy and Criminal Defense. Mr. Feigelson has handled all types of felony cases on the court appointed list and for the last three years has handled only capital cases; including homicides and one of those involved human trafficking. In addition, Mr. Feigelson was the court appointed attorney for Juvenile Delinquency for the Honorable R. George Economy. He also handled all misdemeanors as the court appointed attorney in the 54-b District court in East Lansing for the Honorable Andrea A. Larkin and Richard D. Ball.
Mr. Feigelson is an avid sports fan. He is especially a fan of College Football and is a season ticket holder for Michigan State Football (but roots for Ohio State University), NFL, Amateur Wrestling, and bowling. He is a past master of the Okemos Masonic Lodge.
