The commissioners meet in regular county management meetings where they conduct county executive or administrative duties. In county management meetings, county commissioners meet with invited staff, residents, or others wishing to discuss matters that are not of a legislative nature. This meeting’s main function is to deal with the day-to-day operation of the county. Each commissioner is assigned several different departments charged with providing county services and this is a forum for discussing the business of those different departments and services.
