Dumping Rules

Loads should be covered and separated into the following:
  • Yard Waste (i.e. lawn, dirt, weeds)
  • Tree Limbs
  • Cement and Stumps
  • Fencing
  • Iron and Metal Waste
  • Household (i.e. paper, plastic, glass)
The following items will not be accepted at the landfill: 
  • Drums (10-55 gallon) unless both ends have been removed
  • Hazardous waste (i.e. Gas Cans, Propane Tanks, etc.)
  • Items longer than 8 feet
  • Liquid waste
  • Oil
  • Waste from outside Sevier county
  • Paint -- Up to 5 gallons will be accepted at the landfill gate 

Note: Iron, washers, dryers, refrigerators, and batteries will not be dumped with regular waste.
